How your permissions affect what report data is available to you
Your assigned permissions determine what data you can view in reports. In some cases, your permissions may restrict you from viewing certain reports entirely. In other cases, they may limit what fields and data display in reports.
The table below provides an overview of how permissions determine report data access for each Polaris role.
In order to view any reports, you need the Report User role assigned in your permission sets.

Administrator |
Can view data in the User and Department templates for all users they have access to |
Supervisor |
Can only see data for employees they supervise Need View permission for each of the following to see that type of data:

Resource Manager |
Can view resource and project reports. Can be allowed to view cost data. Cannot view billing data. |

Can view their own user data only |
Billing Manager |
Can view time and expense data for all users. Cannot view cost data. |

Can view time and expense data for all users. Cannot view billing data. |
