Booking time off for a user
If an unexpected absence occurs, you can submit time off on behalf of a user. You can also edit or delete bookings for users.
To book time off for a user:
- Go to Payroll > Time Off.
- Click the Book Time Off button.
- Select the user for the booking.
- In the Type drop-down, choose the time off type to book against.
- Choose the Start and End date for the booking.
- If the user is only away for a portion of the start or end date, specify how much of the day they will miss. Then, enter the Start or End Time of the absence.
- Enter a comment for the booking, if desired.
- Click Submit for approval.
